по теме: «People and animals in the country and in the city»

Тема урока: «Люди и животные в городе и в селе»

Дата проведения: 22 ноября 2013г.

Цели урока:

1. Практическая: закрепить грамматические знания и умения — степени сравнения имен прилагательных, обобщить изученную лексику по теме «Animals» в чтении, говорении, диалоге.

2. Общеобразовательная: проверить сформированность общеучебных навыков и умений по теме, а также качества усвоения учебного материала.

3. Развивающая: развивать у учащихся деятельность по восприятию учебной информации, по её усвоению.

4. Воспитательная: воспитывать бережное отношение и любовь к животным.

Оснащение урока: компьютер, проектор, презентация, выполненная в Power Point.

Ход урока

1.Организационный момент. Проверка готовности к уроку.

Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you!
Pupils:
Good morning, good morning! Good morning to you!

Good morning, good morning! We are glad to see you!

Teacher: Sit down, please. Let us begin our lesson!

— How are you? (We are fine, thanks.)

— Who is on duty today? (I am on duty today.)

— What date is it today? (It is Friday today)

— Who is absent? (All are present.)

— Children, what season is it now? (It is autumn now.)

-What are autumn months? (September, October and November.)

— What is the weather like today? (It is sunny today. It is cold. It is not windy.)

— All right! Thank you.

2. Фонетическая разминка.

Teacher: Look at the blackboard, please. There are some words on it. Who wants to read them? Will you start, Kate?
Учитель привлекает внимание к словам на доске.

Eagle Crocodile Desert

Dolphin Camel Sea

Whale Ocean Mountains

Snake River

Ученики читают слова вслух, затем учитель просит прочитать слова по цепочке. Учитель исправляет неточности произношения слов.

Teacher: Thank you, children. Now please, name the animals (eagle, dolphin…). Name the words with the sound [s] (sea, snake). Read the names of animals’ homes (ocean, desert, river, sea ).

• Very good, children! Thank you very much!

3. Речевая разминка.

— It is time to check up your home task. Who wants to be the first?
Учитель организует проверку упр.5 стр.48 из учебника.

4. Основной этап.

1) Закрепление грамматических знаний и умений
Teacher: Now let’s remember the rule – the degrees of comparison!

-Учащиеся повторяют правило образования односложных и многосложных имен прилагательных, сравнивают животных на картинках.

— Учащиеся повторяют особые случаи образования имен прилагательных (исключения).

Teacher: Look at the pictures and compare the animals.

Who is smaller? Who is taller? Who is stronger? etc.

Pupils: The rat is smaller. The giraffe is taller. The tiger is stronger. The cat is more beautiful.

I think the rabbit is more beautiful. И т.д.

2) Физкультминутка

Touch your head, touch your nose,

Touch your ears, touch your toes

Jump and run!

Let’s have fun!

Wash your face!

Wash your hands!

Clean your teeth!

Be healthy, please!

3) Обобщение изученной лексики по теме «Animals» в говорении

Teacher: You know animals usually help people. Look at the ex.43 p.47. Say what animals and people do for each other? Which animal is the most useful? Why?

Учащиеся высказывают свои мнения.

Pupils: — A camel helps people to carry things. A ship gives people clothes and food.

— I think the most useful animal is a cow. It gives us milk, butter and cheese.

— I think the most useful animal is a dog. It is the best friend for people. It usually help people.

4) Закрепление изученной лексики по теме «Animals» в чтении

Teacher: Good of you! Now it’s time to read. Look at the ex. 41 p.46. Read the paragraphs about animals and match.

Учащиеся озвучивают свои предположения.

5) Диалогическая речь.

Teacher: Ask your classmate about his/her favourite pet. Answer his questions too. Work in pairs. You can see some questions on the blackboard. Use them into your conversation.

1. Have you got a pet?

2. What’s its name?

3. What is it like?

4. What can it do?

5. What does it like to eat?

6. What does it like to do?

7. Do you like to play with your pet?

Учащиеся составляют диалог и озвучивают его.

5. Подведение итогов урока, этап рефлексии.

Teacher: Do you like our lesson? How are you? Pupils: I am fine. I am 50*50. I am bad.

— What did you like most in the lesson? What was really interesting? (I liked the dialogues. I liked reading about animals.)

— What was the most useful/ boring activity for you in the lesson?

— Were you really successful today? Kate, how do you think what mark will you get today in English? (I think I’ll get 5!)

Учащиеся оценивают свою деятельность на уроке и деятельность одноклассников. Учитель выставляет оценки и комментирует.

— Your task for the next lesson: ex.7 p.49. Write a small story about your favourite animal.

That is all for today. You may collect your things. Now it is time to recite the poem.

Учитель прощается с детьми.
