УРОК ПОСВЯЩЕН 50-ЛЕТИЮ ПОЛЕТА В КОСМОС А.Г.НИКОЛАЕВА.

Цель урока: активизация лексики по теме, стимулирование познавательного интереса обучающихся, формирование целостной картины мира.

Задачи урока:

1. Обобщить и расширить лингвострановедческий материал по указанной теме.

2. Совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком по данной теме по трем видам речевой деятельности: аудированию, чтению и письму.
3. Повысить мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка.

4.Развивать логическое мышление, память, познавательный интерес обучающихся, умения работать в группе.

5 Воспитание чувства патриотизма.

Тип урока:

Урок обобщения и систематизации знаний.

Форма работы на уроке: групповая, индивидуальная

Оснащение: компьютер, проектор, раздаточный материал, учебник «Enjoy English-5» М.З. Биболетова, Н.Н.Трубанева “Титул”, 2009г,рабочая тетрадь. Рабочая тетрадь к учебнику «ENJOY ENGLISH — 5″, авт. Биболетова М.З., Бабушис Е.Е.

Ход урока.

1. Начало урока. Оргмомент. Задачи урока.

Учитель: Good morning, my friends! I am so glad to see you today and to tell you that we`ll have an unusual lesson today! Today our classroom will turn into the Young Cosmonauts` School and all the boys and girls will be the students of this school. As you know every prestigious school has a name. Our Cosmonauts` School is named after a famous cosmonaut but his name is a mystery — you should guess it.

Now you should divide into 3 groups of four students – these will be the crews of the spaceships. Each crew should choose a Chief, a Navigator, an Engineer, a Pilot and a name of the group. All the rest will be the candidates to the cosmonaut crews.

The members of the cosmonaut crews have to pass the tests and then they can get a spaceship to go into space. The candidates can also do some tasks and help the crew they like.

2. Предъявление презентации—загадки

Учитель: You will have to guess the name of a famous cosmonaut.

Read and listen to some episodes from the life of this person, look at the pictures and say who we are speaking about. Complete the “Fact File” about this person.

Our hero was born on September 5, 1929 in a small village which name is translated into Russian as “Light Streams”. His parents were simple peasants. Till the graduating from school his surname was Grigoryev, after his father`s name.

Our hero flew on two space flights: “Vostok 3” (effectively becoming the third Soviet cosmonaut) and “Soyuz 9”. On both, he set new records for the longest time a human being had remained in orbit. He was also the first person to make a television broadcast from space, in August 1962.

In the early days of space travel, it was usual to place trainee cosmonauts into isolation chambers to see how long they could last alone. They sat in silence unable to gauge time. Many men cracked. One cosmonaut lasted the longest — four days — and became known as the “Iron Man”.

Our hero liked to sing very much. His favourite folk song was about a swallow that is flying far from its nest. But his call sign during the space flights was Falcon (Со́кол).

On November 3, 1963, he married Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman to fly in space. They had one daughter, Elena Andriyanovna (now a Doctor of Medicine). However, in 1982 they divorced.

In 2004, our hero died of a heart attack in Cheboksary, the capital of Chuvashia in Russia. He was really a hero .He has many awards and titles. The crater on a reverse side of the Moon is called after him. In Chuvashia there is a Museum of Cosmonautics also named after our hero.

Предполагаемый ответ: Andriyan Grigoryevich Nikolaev.

Учитель английского языка: Now we shall check up you answers in the “Fact Files” and count the score.

3. Взаимопроверка. Экипажи обмениваются бланками “Fact Files” с ответами. Учитель озвучивает правильные ответы. Экипажи выполняют взаимопроверку, каждый правильный ответ оценивается в 2 балла, неточный – 1 балл, неверный -0 баллов. Командиры объявляют общие количество баллов. Экипажи получают детали ракеты по количеству заработанных балов. Необходимо получить 6 деталей.

4. Пауза для релаксации.

Exercises for eyes.
1. Blink quickly! Close your eyes! Sit still, count slowly from1 to 5. (4-5- times)
2. Close your eyes, counting from 1 to 3! Open your eyes and look into the distance, counting from 1 to 5. (4-5 times)
3. Stretch your arm forward! Follow the movements of your forefinger to the left and to the right, up and down without turning your head! (4-5 times)
4. Look at your forefinger, stretched forward counting from 1 to 4, then look into the distance, counting from 1 to 6. (4-5 times)
5. Make 3-4 circular motions with your eyes to the right and to the left at a moderate pace. Relax your eyes- muscles. Look into the distance counting from 1 to 6. ( 1-2 times) Начало формы

5.Работа с «кандидатами в космонавты»

Учитель:Our crews have past the most difficult part of the tests and they are ready to the space flight but they do not have a spaceship yet! They have only several parts. The candidates can help them now. Do the tasks and add the points to a crew. Every point is a new part of the spaceship.

«Кандидатам» предлагаются задания для выполнения и вопросы по теме «Космос» (см. Приложение). Правильно выполнив задание, кандидат может добавить балл и недостающую часть ракеты любому экипажу. Тот экипаж, который соберет все 6 частей ракеты, побеждает.

6.Заключительный этап тестирования.

Учитель: Now we’ve found the smartest crew in our Cosmonauts School? They are ready to collect the parts of the spaceship and read its name.

Члены экипажа-победителя собирают части ракеты так, чтобы сложилось ее название «FRIEND»

Учитель:That is the name of your future spaceship that you can built if you work hard together. We congratulate our winners and all the participants of the tests.

7.Завершение урока. Рефлексия. Оценивание работы на уроке.
