Учебный аспект:

совершенствование навыков аудирования и развитие коммуникативных навыков по теме «Дружба»

Сопутствующие задачи: совершенствование навыков аудирования с целью понимания основного содержания прослушанного текста и последующим выходом на устное речевое высказывание; активизация лексических единиц по теме, совершенствование лексических и грамматических навыков, формирование умений выполнять задания в формате ЕГЭ, формирование лингвострановедческой языковой компетенции учащихся.

Развивающий аспект:

развитие способности к репродуктивным речевым действиям; развитие умений обобщать, выделять главное, познавательной активности; развитие умения работать в парах и осуществлять взаимопроверку.

Воспитательный аспект:

формирование готовности строить взаимоотношения с окружающим миром на основе сотрудничества и быть толерантной личностью, развитие потребности выбирать друзей по положительным качествам личности, формирование положительного отношения к собеседнику; повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка.

Учебные пособия: CD – мультимедийные презентации, карточки с заданиями, магнитофон.

T. Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see. Sit down, please. How are you? What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? Do you like Wednesday? Why? (Why not?)


T. Let’s start our lesson. Listen to the poem and try to guess what it is about. (на презентации дети читают стихотворение “Why God made friends”)

Ch. — About friends and friendship.

T. Choose the word combinations which helped you understand the main idea of the poem.

Ch. – need a helping hand, someone to share with, to see us through, we can depend on, call a friend.

T. Of course, sure. You are right. Everybody wants to have a friend. And today we’re going to speak about friends and friendship, and the main question we should answer is what friendship is. It is rather difficult to describe the main features of friendship in one phrase. Friendship is considered one of the central human experiences. Since ancient times people have always thought of this theme, that’s why there are a lot of proverbs about friendship. Lets revise them.

  • A friend in need is a friend indeed.

  • Make new friends but keep the old one is silver and the other gold.

  • Life without friendship like the sky without sun.

  • The best mirror is an old friend.

  • A friend to everyone is a friend to nobody,

  • Books and friends should be few but good.

  • They are rich who have true friends.

  • No man is useless while he has a friend.

  • Friendship is not bought at a fair.

  • Old friends and old wine are best.

T. Let’s find out what friendship means from your point of view. To answer this question we should mention what traits of character a true friend has (на слайде словаприлагательные).

a) Read the words after me.

b) Give it a name.

  • Angry and violent (aggressive)

  • Unkind to another person (mean)

  • Admired and considered important (respected)

  • Firm in their support for a person (loyal)

  • Kind and helpful during difficult or unhappy times (supportive)

  • Nor truthful, cannot be trusted (dishonest)

  • Angry or bitter about sth (jealous)

  • Able to invent and develop original ideas (creative)

  • Honest and sincere (trusting)

  • Caring only about themselves (selfish)

  • giving things and helping other people (generous)

  • Affectionate, helpful and sympathetic (caring)

  • Calm, not easily annoyed (patient)

c) Answer the questions.

What kind of a person are you?

What qualities do you look for in a friend? I’d like my friend to be ……

Which do you try to avoid? Discuss in pairs.

P1 To me, a good friend should be honest. What do you think?

P2 I agree…… and patient too, but a good friend shouldn’t be aggressive. Etc.



T. You know people like speaking about their friends and relationship between them. I suggest listening to some people giving their views on their friends.

T. Let’s answer the main question at our lesson today. What is friendship? Дети составляют предложения. I consider friendship is understanding and support. To my mind, friendship is about helping each other. Etc.




T. As we see how important to have friends. But not all people can make friends. Friendship is a recipe made up of many different ingredients. Let’s make up it.

Recipe of friendship.

It’s cooking…..

1 cup of sharing

2 cups of care

1 cup of forgiveness and hugs of tenderness

Mix all these together……..

To make friends forever!

Take twice a day.

T. Follow this recipe and you will be a good friend. I’m sure you will never be fair-weather friends to the people close to you.


T. At home you should prepare a two-minute talk about friendship and friends.

Include:

  • What friendship is

  • If you have a lot of friends

  • Why your friends are important to you

  • What traits of character you look for in friends

  • What you usually do with your friends



T. Children, is it interesting to discuss the topic Friendship? Is it necessary to talk about it? Why?
