Пояснительная записка.

Драматизация является одним из эффективных способов приобщения учащихся к культуре стран изучаемого языка, способствует тренировке произносительных навыков и восприятия речи на слух, поддержанию интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка. Данное внеклассное мероприятие проводилось с учащимися 4 класса в форме драматизации известной сказки “Cinderella” в рамках недели английского языка.

Мероприятие направлено на достижение следующих целей:

1. Повысить интерес учащихся к изучению иностранных языков;

2. Расширить творческий потенциал учащихся;

3. Развивать и совершенствовать навыки учащихся во всех видах речевой деятельности;

4. Формировать положительные эмоции учащихся, чувства успеха, уважение к культуре и народу страны изучаемого языка.

SCENE I

Cinderella is cleaning the room. Her Stepsisters are sitting in the armchairs. The Stepmother comes in.

STEPMOTHER: Girls! There will be a ball in the King’s palace.

1 STEPSISTER: Really? Cinderella, fetch me my white dress. Be quick!

CINDERELLA: Here you are!

2 STEPSISTER: Yes, fetch me my hat, my brush and the mirror!

inderella brings her the hat, the brush and the mirror.

STEPMOTHER: Cinderella, bring me my fan!

1 STEPSISTER: Tell us, Cinderella, do you want to go to the ball?

CINDERELLA: Oh, even if I want nobody will let me in.

1 STEPSISTER: Of course, not. You have no beautiful dresses.

2 STEPSISTER: Your dress is too dirty. (To her mother and sister) Well, let’s go!

They leave the room. Cinderella is crying. Fairy appears in the room..

FAIRY: Why are you crying my child?

CINDERELLA: I want to go to the ball but I don’t have a beautiful dress and glass slippers.

FAIRY: Oh, my dear, don’t worry, I’ll help you and you will go to the ball. Here is a white dress and here are glass slippers for you. But remember: you must go home at twelve o’clock.

CINDERELLA: Thank you very, very much!

SCENE II

The King’s palace. The two stepsisters are dancing. The Queen is talking to the Prince.. Cinderella appears. She is in a beautiful white dress.

QUEEN: Who is that young girl? How beautiful she is!

PRINCE (to Cinderella): May I dance with you? You are so beautiful!

CINDERELLA: With great pleasure.

They begin dancing. Suddenly the clock strikes twelve.

CINDERELLA: Oh, it’s twelve o’clock! I’m sorry but I must go!

Cinderella runs away and loses one of her glass slippers.

SCENE III

Cinderella is sewing at home. Two Stepsisters and Stepmother are talking.

1 STEPSISTER: I wonder who that beautiful lady at the King’s ball was. She was so beautiful, her dress was amazing.

2 STEPSISTER: The Prince wants to merry her. He is looking for her.

Herald enter the room.

HERALD (to the 1^st sister): Try on this glass slipper, please!

1 STEPSISTER: It’s too small for me.

2 STEPSISTER: I want to try it on as well! Oh, it’s so small!

HERALD (to Cinderella): Try on this glass slipper, please!

STEPMOTHER: Oh, it’s our Cinderella. She hasn’t been to the ball.

CINDERELLA: But I want to try it on!

Easily puts on the glass slipper.

1 STEPSISTER AND 2 STEPSISTER: Oh, Cinderella, we beg your pardon!

CINDERELLA: I pardon you!
