Цель:

1. Привить интерес и любовь к изучению английского языка.

2. Обобщить и закрепить изученный материал.

3. Расширить кругозор.

4. Развить память и внимание.

5. Воспитать чувства товарищества, коллективизма, взаимопомощи, ответственности.

Host: Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you!

Pupils: We are glad to see you too!

Host: What season is it now?

Pupil 1: It is autumn.

Host1: You are right. Please, name autumn months.

Pupil2: September, October, November are autumn months

Host: It is true. What is the weather like in autumn?

Pupil 3: It’s cold. In September we have many sunny days, the sky is blue. In October the sun does not shine brightly, the sky is grey and cloudy.

Host: Does it rain in October and November?

Pupil 4: Yes, it does. Sometimes it snows.

Host: And do you know any poems about autumn?

Pupils: Yes

Host: It’s nice! Now we shall organize a competition. Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1^st team?

Pupil 3: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Leaves”.

Host: Who is the captain of the 2^nd team?

Pupil 4: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is “Drops”.
