Цель урока: формирование обобщенных знаний по теме «Christmas and the New Year in Russia and English-Speaking Countries» и оперирование ими.

Компоненты цели:

образовательный: расширение лингвистического кругозора и эрудиции учащихся
развивающий: развитие языковых способностей учащихся, готовности к коммуникации
воспитательный: создание условий для формирования у обучающихся интереса к культуре и традициям страны изучаемого языка, поддержание интереса к культуре своей страны
практический: формирование и развитие практических навыков владения английским языком, обеспечивающих коммуникативные потребности учащихся, расширение словарного запаса учащихся по теме путем привлечения дополнительного материала, развитие аутентичных навыков, поискового чтения, навыков письма

Оборудование: наглядный материал по теме «Рождество и Новый год в России и англоговорящих странах», рисунки и презентации учащихся по теме, лексический материал, компьютер и проектор.

Ход урока

I. Организационный этап. Приветствие.

Teacher: Good morning, good morning, good morning to you,

This cold winter morning: how are you?

Pupils: Good morning, good morning, good morning to you,

This cold winter morning: we are well, and you?

II. Определение темы урока

Teacher: Look at the screen and try to read this poem.

Christmas tree, Christmas tree,

What is there under the tree?

Presents, candles, colored lights,

Always make the children smile.

(учащиеся читают стих-ие)

Teacher: What is this poem about?

Pupils: This poem is about Christmas.

Teacher: So, the topic of our lesson is “Christmas and the New Year in Russia and English-

Speaking countries”.

III. Этап актуализации знаний.

Teacher: First, look at these words on the board. Read after me, please. Read the words one by one. P1, would you read all the words?
