Цель урока: развивающий аспект – развитие антиципации, умения высказывать предположения, планировать высказывания; воспитывать интерес к иностранному языку как средству общения, к многообразию средств иностранного языка;

воспитательный аспект – воспитание познавательных потребностей, любознательности, воспитание потребности в приобщении к мировой культуре через чтение;

учебный аспект – совершенствование речевых навыков

Речевой материал:

продуктивный: лексический – лексические единицы цикла;

грамматический – безличные предложения.

Оборудование: аудиозапись, электронное приложение к учебнику В.П. Кузовлева, Н.М. Лапа, И.П. Костиной и др., раздаточный материал, карочки с изображением звуков.

2.. Приветствие. Речевая подготовка. Good morning, children. How are you today? Today we’ll have a competition on the topic “Seasons and Weather”. Let’s divide into two teams.

Let’s talk about the weather today.

I’ll start out conversation and you’ll finish the logical chain. Each student must add one or two sentences.

Let’s play with the English sounds. Make up as many words , as you can.

Now we’ll listen to the text. Guess what Dan’s favourite season is. Open your books on p.93

Good morning, our teacher. We are fine, thanks.

Now we’ll role-play the dialogues about the weather today. You’ll work in groups during 5 minutes and then we’ll start.

— Hi, Dan! How are you?

— Fine. Thanks. And what about you?

— I’m not fine. The weather isn’t good today. It is cold and windy.

— What are you going to do?

— I don’t know yet. May be I stay at home and watch TV. And you?

— I’m going to ski.

It’s sunny. It’s hot. It’s wet. It’s windy. It’s cold.

1. It’s autumn. The weather is cool and nice. It isn’t cloudy. I have not got my umbrella.

2. It’s summer. The weather is sunny. The sun is bright. The trees are green. It is hot.

Team 1.It’s winter. It’s cold in winter. It often snows in winter. Sometimes it is very frosty. We can play snowballs and make snowmen. In winter we put on our warm coats and hats.

Team 2. It’s spring. In March and April it often rains. Sometimes the sun shines, too. In May there are flowers in the gardens and parks. There is a rainbow in the sky. There are seven colours in the rainbow. Pupils write sentences in their Activity Books.
