Образовательные:

-дать учащимся знания о временах года и погоде,

-совершенствовать навыки в чтении,

-расширить кругозор уч-ся с использованием межпредметных связей

-развивать социокультурную компетенцию в обучении иностранному языку

Воспитание личностных качеств: уверенность при ответе, умение отстаивать свою точку зрения

1 Read the text and draw the picture (book p 61 Ex 1 Practice book p 41 Ex 2)

2 Read the texts and match them to the titles

1. The days of this season are short and the nights are long. It is cold and frosty and windy. Children like the season. They can ski , skate, play snowballs. It often snows. It’s slippery and sometimes foggy. Animals are cold and hungry.

2. This season is hot. The weather is sunny and warm. The days are long and the nights are short. It is a beautiful season. the trees are green. Birds sing songs in the parks. Children have the longest holidays. They enjoy this season.

3. This season is not warm. It is cold and often rainy and cloudy. But it is a very beautiful season. The trees are bright. There are a lot of mushrooms in the forests and a lot of fruit in the gardens. Birds fly away to the warm countries.
