Cinderella.

( Звучит музыка. Золушка, напевая песенку, прибирает комнату. Входит её отец, мачеха, ее дочери)

S: We are going to the ball.

C: . I’d like to go to the ball, too

A, Ch: You?

S: Hush! Of course, my dear, you can go to the ball. But you must

do some work: clean the house, wash the clothes, water the roses, feed domestic birds and animals, go to the market and buy food, cook dinner and sort lentil and peas.

C: But I cannot do it all.

S: Hurry up, girl! Maybe you’ll finish the work and go to the ball. (Смеются) Daughters come with me!

Все четверо уходят.

Scene II

( Звучит музыка. Золушка перебирает горох и чечевицу. Гаснет свет

и появляется фея.)

Fairy: Good evening, my dear girl!

C; Oh, dear Godmother! Good evening!

F: You work hard today. I’d like to help you.

Cinderella, would you like to go to the ball?

C: Oh, yes.

(magic music)

F : there is my gold carriage with six horses and the brave

coachman.

C I’ll go to the ball. (радуется, прыгает, хлопает в ладоши)

F Stop! Stop! Look at your dress and shoes. You can’t go to the ball

without new clothes. Stand there. One, two, three. (приносят одежду)

C: These clothes are beautiful.

F; Cinderella. Now you can go to the ball and have

a good time.

C: Oh, thank you, thank you, Godmother. (обнимает ее)

F: But, Cinderella You can have these things only until 12 o’clock. Come home before that time. Do you understand?

C: Oh, yes, yes. Thank you. (убегает переодеваться, а фея кричит ей вслед)

F: Bye, Cinderella. Have a good time. And remember: you must

be back home before 12 o’clock.

Scene III

Бал. Звучит музыка. Король стоит в центре зала с принцем, они приветствуют гостей. Гости кланяются, расходятся по сторонам. Входит золушка, все смотрят на нее.

P: ( coming to Cinderella).May I dance with you, young lady?

C: With great pleasure. I like dancing.

Танец.

(Вдруг часы бьют 12.00)

C: Oh, it’s 12 o’clock. I’m sorry, but I must go now. Good-bye. (бежит)

P Wait! Don’t go away! Please, stop! (бежит за ней)

Все гости бегут следом за ними.

King: Run after her. Don’t let her run away! (кричит)

Scene IV.

Ученица сидит за партой на уроке английского языка и спит. Учитель будит ее. Она удивляется и не понимает, что произошло. Говорит: «Неужели это все приснилось мне или…?» Звучит музыка.
