Тип урока: внеклассное мероприятие

Цель: Создание условий для организации обсуждения учащимися данной темы на основе прослушанного и представленного материала с последующим монологическим высказыванием

Задачи:

Обучающие

-Ввести новую лексику и страноведческий материал по данной теме.

-Познакомить учащихся с некоторыми традициями и обычаями празднования Рождества в Великобритании.


— Развивающие

-Развивать творческую фантазию, познавательный интерес, инициативу в осуществлении иноязычной речевой деятельности.

-Развивать навыки аудирования, письма, монологической речи

-Развивать коммуникативную компетенцию(работа в группах)


Воспитательные

-Воспитывать у учащихся уважение к культуре и традициям других народов.

-Воспитывать чувство взаимной ответственности, прививать навыки работы в группе.

Оборудование: Раздаточный материал: распечатки с заданиями(Christmas puzzle), заготовки письма Санта Клаусу, карточки со словами-опорами, общее панно «рождественская ель», интерактивная доска

Good afternoon boys and girls. Nice day, isn’t it?

I’m glad to see you and today we are going to have an unusual lesson. We are going to work in groups.




2.Лексическая зарядка.

7-8мин

Look at the board. You can see a fir-tree decorated with balls. It’s a puzzle for you. Come one by one and turn over one ball. There’re many letters. Try to make up a word. If you are right, your group will have a point. Make a list of the words on the board.

What do you think about our today lesson? What holiday are we going to talk about?

Work in a chain order. Make a list of Christmas words on the board.

On the 25th of Dec. people celebrate Christmas – a beautiful holiday which is loved by children and adults. It’s time, when everything is decorated with lights and toys; we see Christmas trees everywhere, and people are happy.The theme..

Today you’ll see a short film how Christmas is celebrated in America. Make up short notes while watching the video.

Another well known Christmas tradition is to write a letter to Santa Claus. Have you ever written your letters to Santa? (writing a letter)

The point is to group who will be the first.

Answer the questions in groups ,than somebody tells the answers.
